CD Release Party A "Huge Success"
November 30, 2002 - The Bam Bam Project played to a sellout crowd at Spectators Pub & Restaurant in New Rochelle, NY to celebrate the release of their debut CD, Unfinished Business. Hosted by former Sopranos cast member Vincent "Big Pussy" Pastore, the evening was categorized by everyone who attended as a huge success. Hoping to raise money for Talia Parisi's college fund and brain cancer research, The Bam Bam Project boogied through two high energy sets of music featuring cuts from their new CD as well as some favorites from former projects including Almost Human and The Hip Pocket Band.
"These guys are great" exclaimed Pastore after the band finished up their first set. "This is a huge success and I hope they keep playing for a long long time." Pastore used to own "The Crazy Horse Cafe" in downtown New Rochelle, which was a favorite for local musicians as well as music fans. "The Crazy Horse was the number one place in Westchester to be seen and heard if you were an aspiring band" said Ken Eichler, Producer of Unfinished Business. "Vinnie has a real eye for talent and everyone wanted to play in his club. Now that he has attained his own success as an actor, we really appreciate his continued support of our efforts to raise money for these worthy causes" added Eichler. "That shows true friendship and that is what this project is all about."
